WILDFIRE EVACUATION ROUTES

The Beverly Hills Fire Department has established pre-determined evacuation routes to be utilized during a wildfire. To view this map, visit:  https://gis.beverlyhills.org/GISDocs/PublicMaps/WildFireEvacuationRoutes.pdf Note: Please remember that emergency and disaster scenarios can be dynamic and change quickly. In the event of an emergency or disaster, always check official city sources (see below) for updated information.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR AN EVACUATION

All residents should sign up to receive emergency notifications from the City on their mobile phones as soon as possible. Depending on the situation, the information provided may include evacuation orders, road closures and location of shelters.

Residents are encouraged to have an emergency evacuation plan and review with their family. Identify items beforehand that you would take should you have to evacuate. Examples would be personal items, purses/wallets, medications, pets and pet supplies, important documents, pictures, emergency supplies, and irreplaceable sentimental items. Running short on time? Pillowcases make great makeshift suitcases.
